Fitch Ratings has affirmed the United Arab Emirates’ long-term credit rating at "AA-" with a "Stable" outlook. The rating reflects the country’s strong net external asset position, moderate consolidated government debt, and high per capita GDP.

However, Fitch warned that regional geopolitical risks remain elevated. Still, the UAE is seen as capable of absorbing short-term shocks, supported by its fiscal surpluses and large foreign reserves.

Fitch projects the UAE economy will grow by 5.2% in 2025, driven by increased oil output and robust growth in non-oil sectors.
